Record with the Chrome extension
- [Instructor] As we previously saw, you can install a Loom extension into the Google Chrome web browser. That gives you a lot of the same functionality as the Loom desktop app. The browser extension version of Loom can be a good choice in situations where you might not be able to install apps on the computer you're using, or if you frequently record content in your web browser like presentations, for example. I already have the Loom extension installed here in Chrome. If you need instructions on how to install it, you can go back to that movie in the first chapter. But once it's installed, when I click its icon, I get this control panel that looks pretty similar to the desktop version of Loom. Also because I have Screen and Cam selected I see my own image down here in the bubble that pops up. And we have the same three choices here. We have Screen and Cam. Screen Only or Cam Only.
