- [Instructor] Up until now, we've been using iZotope RX as a stand alone app. And although it's a powerful stand alone app, this can be limiting for many audio engineers who use other digital audio workstations for their primary work, like Pro Tools. Happily, when you buy and install RX 6, you get many of the modules as RTAS in audio units plug-ins that will work in your existing digital audio workstation. You also automatically have the RX Connect tool that lets you run iZotope in the background and enjoy seamless transferring of audio between it and your DAW. So here's a Pro Tools session of some drum tracks. Let's start by taking a look at some of the realtime plug-in inserts. If I click to add an insert to one of these tracks, and go to plug-in noise reduction, here we can see all of the iZotope RX 6 modules. Well, not all of them, but a good amount of them show up here.
