It's definitely aimed at every body and it gives you a good overview of good brainstorming practices. On a similar note, some techinques are explained way to generally, and it's hard to grasp how to apply them in a real-case scenario. Specially conecpts like the story technique which is explained in roughly two or three scentences. I'm assuming that is done for the sake of brevity...but perhaps having a more in depth walkthrough of each technique would give the student a clearer notion of how to apply them. For instance, I wouldn't know how to apply the story technique: I frame the story and then what? Are the stormers supposed to come up with somethign to continue the story? Are they supposed to come up with an explanation to how the things in the story come to happen (ie: to use the example in the video, do stormers explain how the refraction of light happens to show the company's logo?) Do I continue to build on the story after the stormers throw their first ideas?

Course details
While the concept of group ideation isn’t a modern idea, the term “brainstorming” wasn’t communicated as a formal creative process until advertising legend Alex Osborn detailed the process in 1948. While brainstorming is still the dominant technique when it comes to idea generation, brainstorms often fail before they ever begin. Why? Because the organizer doesn't have a clear picture of the purpose, process, or intended outcome. In this course, Stefan Mumaw brings brainstorming into the modern age, with rules and techniques to help you set up and run more effective creative brainstorming sessions, including what to do before, during, and after each session. He details everything from group ideation dynamics to brainstorming techniques like idea webbing, time boxing, and story structures. By the end, you’ll be armed with everything you need to run an effective brainstorm session and extract the most and best ideas from those involved.
