How do you make a composition 3D? Trick question. It is layers, not comps, that can be toggled from 2D to 3D, and this offers extra design flexibility. Here's a scene from earlier in the course in which a logo moves in 3D against a 2D background. Let's analyze the scene by going to a minimal workspace to create some space for viewing two views. I'll choose two views down here in the comp viewer. These exist specifically for 3d And they give me more 3d views. So I'll choose custom view one right there and There it is. And if I scrub through there's my poster moving in a 3d world to see it even a little better I'll make that a draft 3d. So I see the grid Let's add a couple more 3d elements actually before I do that, let me break it so I'll turn off 3D for the layer. That 3D view goes away and it no longer rotates and even if I turn it back on the rotation is now gone. So the layer has to remain 3D to keep its 3D properties.
