Meet the Adobe Audition Mixer
- [Speaker] Of all the elements of the Adobe Audition interface, the mixer is perhaps the most intimidating when you first look at it. The good news is that if you watched the lesson in this course on understanding the track headers, you actually already know what most of these controls do. If we look right at the bottom of each of these controls, you'll notice that they're in stacks, they're in vertical columns. You'll notice that down at the bottom, we've got the track names, track one, two, three. This one's already be called strings and so on. These match with the track names that we have over here in the editor view. So what's the difference? Well, the main difference, I suppose, is that while in the editor view, we're seeing the tracks, we're seeing the clips, and we can manipulate them, in the mixer we don't have the tracks on show, that's the contents of the tracks, but we do have this fader control for increasing and decreasing the level for the track.
