- Let's explore editing an image inside of the native editor for Windows, which is Microsoft Photos. It's a fully capable tool that's built in that also integrates very well with Microsoft Office. It's going to be able to see these raw files and give you the basic capacity for editing. Now what we can do is, bring these photos into the Microsoft Photos app. You can add them to the library permanently or directly open them up. Let's just take the simpler path of directly opening. Here I have some photos from a recent trip and I did capture these with raw images. It's going to really come in handy here, so we can unlock some of the details. Now let's select an individual image here and we can right click and choose to open it with and specify the Photos app. The individual image opens. Now in this case, we are working with the DNG file, which means raw data. What I want to take advantage of is the ability to edit. So…
