Sharing a OneDrive file or folder

- [Instructor] Any file you save on OneDrive can be shared with others which is something you can do right on your computer such as with this folder window here showing my OneDrive. Right click on the file or folder you want to share, choose OneDrive, share. First, set permissions. Right now, anyone with a link can edit which means they have full access to the file. Here, you can choose whether you want specific people to access the file or just allow the link to be shared with anyone on the internet. Choose to allow editing depending on whether you want the person you share the link with to have full access to the file, to just read it or to make comments. Obviously, unchecking this box is strongly recommended if you choose to share with anyone who has the link unless you really, really trust them. You can set an expiration date here.
