- Transition. It helps make your video feel more polished, especially between different scenes. And here's how to do it. First, go to the Transition panel. Click on the Transitions tab. Then you can hover your mouse over the different transitions to preview before you choose. And once you pick the one that you like, drag and drop the transition between two clips. Click on the transition and adjust the duration to make it faster or slower.
