- Quizzes, tests, and multiple choice questions are not the right evaluation tools for the Metaverse. Instead you have the ability to measure actual activities the learners perform within the Metaverse. In the Metaverse you want to develop operational measurements, protocol measurements, and behavioral measurements. These types of measurements allow you to determine if the learner is able to achieve the outcomes for which they've been trained. In the operational measurement approach what you want to measure is the learner's ability to properly operate a piece of equipment or machinery. For example, is a manufacturing employee following the written standard operating procedure also known as an SOP, as they power on a piece of equipment in the Metaverse?
