Creating an After Effects preset
- Adobe After Effects offers many tools so you can stylize footage. It's great for creating elements for use in motion graphics, or perhaps section bumpers. When you're creating though, you can also save time by making presets, so something can be easily accessed again in the future. I've opened up an After Effects project here, and you can see that a series of effects have been applied to this clip. I did a basic color grade to compensate for the log footage, added a tri-tone effect to give it a stylized color palette for the bumper, and then a little glow to bring out the highlights. Well, I want to reuse this, so all I need to do is shift click to select those. If you were concerned about certain properties, you can also select those individually instead if you just wanted part of an effect. Now lets choose to save this as a animation preset. By default, it should select the correct folder, and I'll call this blue…
