- Now when you set up a wireless network, you obviously want it to run smoothly, correct? But that's not always the case. A lot of times, we experience slowdown. Now even I don't like slowdown, and I come from the generation of dial up internet. So if I think slowdown, if I have no patience for it, odds are you youngins as won't either. So one of the biggest problems that can cause slowdown or any kind of problem is interference. When you connect to a wireless network, you actually agree on a speed, but it's actually the top speed that you're agreeing on. So let's go to my Windows 10 computer, and let's look at Resource Monitor. So I have my Network tab pulled up. Of course, when you open up Resource Monitor, you'll see an overview, but we're going to go to our network, and over here, we can see the kind of activity that I have, and we'll see the occasional spike up here. But for the most part, it seems the activity is running pretty normally. Now, again, some of these things here…
