- [Instructor] In this movie, we'll look at Photoshop's features for working with selections, a very important topic for the ACP exam. In the toolbox, we'll start with the marquee tools for making simple selections. For all the selection tools, you'll get various options in the options bar, things like feathering and anti-aliasing, for making selections with smooth edges. And with the rectangular and elliptical marquee tools, you just drag to make selections. Hold the Shift key to constrain proportions, so now I have a perfect circle. And when you're dragging, you can hold the Opt or Alt key to draw the selection from the center. While you're dragging out a selection, you can press and hold the space bar to reposition it. And after you have an active selection, drag inside it to move it. To rotate or scale it, choose Select, Transform Selection, and then drag any of these handles. Anytime you have an active selection, you can invert it by choosing Select, Inverse. And now I have…
