Setting up the Revit folder structure

- [Instructor] As I've mentioned before, I work at a multi-discipline firm. We do specific types of projects, so I break down my models in a specific way. I'm sure every firm does specific types of projects, as well as a wide range of projects. What I do find though, however your firm is aligned, it is imperative to find a folder structure and stick with it. Sure, some project's going to come up that dictate a slightly different approach. So having a solid basis start with is going to serve you well no matter what the situation is. Also taking it a step further. If you're the prime firm on a project with sub-consultants, it's even more important to have a folder structure and naming convention that allows for a smooth project with as little confusion as possible. What I'd like to do in this video is look at some folder structure examples. These folder structures follow the method that I used to break out Revit models.…
