- The world went through a profound change in 2020, but the push for equality in the workplace is not over. Inclusion is a requirement for today's workforce, especially, but not exclusively for Gen Z. An inclusive environment is one that acknowledges the unique experiences and perspectives each individual brings to the table. People feel valued, and organizations understand performance and motivation on an individual level so that each employee is respected and empowered to succeed. Creating an inclusive environment is something all managers must do to attract and keep talented workers. That's why I want to offer you three things you can do to create a more inclusive work environment, gain a competitive advantage in the marketplace, and give your employees a reason to stay.
