From the course: AutoCAD Mechanical Essential Training
Use annotation views in structure
- [Instructor] We're now going to look at creating annotation views in our AutoCAD Mechanical drawings. So we've got a new drawing for you. It's called Annotation_VIEWS.dwg. Can download it from the library to follow along with the video. Now you can see that there are three different views in our model tab when you open the drawing. Now just before we start we're going to be creating annotation views using structure in AutoCAD Mechanical. So we need to switch our workspace down to the status bar here. Select Workspace Switching and select our Structure workspace. What'll happen there is the MECHANICAL BROWSER will kick in as per the structure catalog, which you can close quite happily. We're going to go to the Drawing tab here in the MECHANICAL BROWSER. And you can see Layout1 and Layout2. You can activate either by double clicking. Double click on Layout1 to make sure it's active because Layout1 says ROLLER CONVEYOR-1500 in the title block. Now we're going to go to the Structure tab…
