- [Instructor] Part of the beauty of ArchiCad is that you're not only creating rich three-dimensional models. But you're able to extract information that is going to potentially be useful for other teams during your process. And one of those things is doing a quantity takeoff. So we talked about kind of the schedules and the ability to potentially extract zone information out of the project. And that's why we started with the site zone information. So you are able to start to do site analysis but then you can also do square footage analysis based on the zones. And there's another capability. So if we go over to our navigator under our project map we can click on this all components. And we'll see here that we are able to extract some pretty good information from the model that will potentially be used by the contractor or other design professionals to better understand the building itself.
