- [Instructor] In this video, we will look at the data we will use for employee network analysis. This data is available in a file called chatgroups.csv. Let's review the content of this file. Each record in the file is a list of participants in a chat channel. A chat channel is like a group or team where specific individuals collaborate on a given topic. The number of participants varies by the channel. The same individuals may collaborate on multiple channels. For example, Jeff has a private channel with Stacy. He also has Stacy in three other groups. The higher the number of times a pair of employees appear in a dataset, the higher as the collaboration between them. It should be possible for you to get those data from your chat, email, or meeting software too. In the next video, we will load and process this data.
