Let me be very direct. In order to get your next HR initiative approved, you'll need lots of evidence and some big believable ROI and profit impact. And more importantly, you'll need to start with this impact when you make your pitch. Otherwise, no one will care about the details. Early in my career, I was a financial analyst at the headquarters of a major corporation and handled dozens of investment projects. During this time, I discovered that the assumptions mattered more than the details. Unfortunately, developing these financial assumptions is difficult when an employee improvement program involves non-sales roles. In this lesson, we'll cover three ways to quantify these types of initiatives. We'll start with revenue per employee.
