- [Instructor] The previous video talked about how to use face snapping in order to do reverse engineering. I'm going to show you a different way of doing this that's maybe a little bit easier. Face snapping is great if you want some very targeted parts of the geometry but not when you want to recreate an entire object. Now, if we look at this, it looks kind of box-shaped. And we certainly do have a Box command up here, but the better option is to say Create and go to Cylinder. And we want to create a cylinder on this plane like this. I'm going to click on the right view, and roughly center this right here, and bring out a cylinder that matches the edges and a little bit outside of the edges. That looks pretty good, I'm going to click OK. Now, this is not centered and it doesn't really match the key fob, so let's make it match. Click on right, right here.
