The ServiceNow Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, configuring, and supporting ServiceNow solutions to meet business requirements. This role requires hands-on experience with ServiceNow modules, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality ITSM, ITOM, and automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain ServiceNow applications and workflows
  • Configure ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM, SAM, and HAM
  • Develop custom scripts, business rules, UI policies, and integrations
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Ensure platform security, compliance, and best practices
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ServiceNow functionality and performance
  • Participate in upgrades, patching, and platform optimization
  • Document technical solutions and provide user training as required

Required Qualifications

  • 5-10 years Proven experience as a ServiceNow Engineer or Developer in enterprise environments
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture and modules

Certifications (Most Needed)

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in at least one module (ITSM, ITOM, SAM, HAM, EA)
  • ServiceNow Certified Advanced System Administrator (optional but preferred)
  • ITIL Foundation Certification (preferred)

Skills And Experience

  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow scripting
  • Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and API development
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
