Hiring Assistant integration in Microsoft Teams

Who can use this feature?

This feature is available to select organizations with a LinkedIn Recruiter or LinkedIn Recruiter Professional Services Plus (RPS+) contract that includes Hiring Assistant, the language setting set to English, and a Microsoft 365 plan with Teams on a Pro, Business, or Enterprise plan. As a LinkedIn Recruiter user with a Hiring Assistant license, you can streamline your hiring workflows by sharing candidate profiles with hiring managers for feedback directly in Microsoft Teams.

Recruiters with a Hiring Assistant license can initiate candidate feedback requests, share candidate lists, and receive hiring manager input in Microsoft Teams, while Hiring Assistant tracks and updates hiring requirements in Recruiter automatically. This collaborative workflow ensures that recruiters and hiring managers stay aligned throughout the hiring process, improving candidate quality and reducing time-to-hire.

Hiring Assistant centralizes communication and feedback between recruiters and hiring managers, even if the hiring manager doesn’t have a Hiring Assistant license.

Hiring Assistant integration features

The Hiring Assistant app in Microsoft Teams can help you streamline collaboration through:

License flexibility: Hiring managers don’t need a Hiring Assistant license to provide feedback on candidates in Microsoft Teams.
Candidate calibration: Recruiters can calibrate candidates with hiring managers via Microsoft Teams. Hiring managers receive a notification, sign in, and provide feedback on if a candidate is a good fit or not a fit directly in the app.
Feedback tracking: Hiring Assistant logs feedback activity and offers suggestions to improve hiring requirements for future sourcing rounds.
Shortlist review: Recruiters send a shortlist of candidates to the hiring manager for review. Hiring managers receive a message in Microsoft Teams to access the list and submit feedback.
Activity alerts: Hiring Assistant notifies recruiters in the project’s Activity log in Recruiter when the hiring manager submits feedback and adjusts sourcing criteria accordingly.

Setup requirements

Your IT admin for Microsoft 365 must install the Hiring Assistant integration in Microsoft Teams for your company. If you’re the IT admin, visit Enable the Hiring Assistant integration in Microsoft Teams as an IT Admin for more information.
