What if the simplest habit is the one that transforms your entire career? This The Leadership Learns Podcast episode featured a conversation with Sebastien Breteau, Founder and CEO of QIMA - a global force in TIC. During our discussion, Sebastien talked about the principle he hopes his children - and future leaders - carry with them: Show up, follow through, and do what you say you’ll do. 💪 He explains that when people see you consistently honour your commitments, they naturally place greater trust in you. Doors open. Responsibilities grow. Your influence expands. 📈 What seems like a simple habit becomes a long-term advantage in both business and life. 🔗 To learn how X4 Engineering supports teams driving innovation across the engineering sector, get in touch: https://lnkd.in/eGFE9rrZ #Leadership #EngineeringLeadership #ProfessionalGrowth #CareerAdvice

We recently asked our network which area is likely to drive the most engineering job growth in 2026. Renewable and clean energy dominated the poll (47% of the vote) and it’s not hard to see why.🔋 Funding for grid modernisation, storage, and large-scale transition projects is ramping up across the U.S. and Europe, and many teams are already mapping out the talent they’ll need to keep pace. What stood out just as much was the spread across the other sectors. Infrastructure, manufacturing and environmental systems all pulled similar support, which reflects what we’re seeing day to day: different markets, same talent pool. 🎣 Electrical, mechanical, civil, controls, project engineering - the competition doesn’t stay within sector lines anymore. Everyone’s hiring from the same bench. If you’re reviewing your approach for next year and want a clearer view of where the real pressure points are likely to be, we can help you get ahead of them: https://lnkd.in/er8ZG5da #Engineering #Hiring #CleanEnergy #Renewables

As we move into Q4, the U.S. wind energy landscape is shifting. Not without challenges, but with serious opportunity. 💡 Offshore wind projects like Vineyard Wind are coming online, and others are deep in development. Meanwhile, SunZia (onshore + transmission) is pushing forward as one of the largest projects in the Western Hemisphere. There are permit setbacks – last week's request to cancel Maryland’s offshore permit is a reminder that regulatory risk is still front and centre. But demand remains strong: Ørsted estimates over 130,000 U.S. jobs already depend on onshore wind. And that number is growing. 💬 If you’re an engineer exploring how your skills can contribute, get in touch with our team. We’d love to help you play your part in building a sustainable future: https://lnkd.in/e_bwGUMu #US #Renewables #WindEnergy #OnshoreWind #EngineeringJobs
