Last week at Web Summit was the first time we took the stage as Superhuman, and I had an incredible time sharing our company vision and story. I also got to chat with users from all of our products, which is one of the best parts of any conference. Special thanks to Jim Edwards for the great fireside chat conversation about Superhuman’s differentiators and why the future of AI is proactive AI. We also got to talking about whether we’re in an AI bubble right now—top of mind for so many people—and I don’t think this is a new pattern we’ve seen. My take is that if you look at the first era of the internet (or mobile, or cloud, or any bubble), it’s people rushing into something before the infrastructure is fully ready. That rush forces providers to build the foundation—sometimes they overbuild, sometimes not everything works out. But without that initial push, you don't get the core technology that makes it all possible, and that’s what gave us companies like Google. There are definitely bets being made now on things that might be ahead of their time, but I also think we’re building the foundation for some of the most important companies of the next few decades. I couldn’t imagine a better challenge than being right in the middle of it!

If there’s no correlation between AI tools and their impact on student success, retention, or faculty effectiveness, then what’s the point? We build AI with outcomes in mind at Superhuman: tools that support students where they need it, give educators visibility into AI use, and help institutions achieve their goals. And we back it up with real data that shows measurable improvements. 💥 I joined The Higher Ed Geek podcast with Dustin Ramsdell at EDUCAUSE to talk about what this looks like in practice and what it means to build alongside the institutions we serve. Listen to the episode here: https://gram.ly/43Z8hem And coming soon is new data from a university showing stronger retention and course completion rates among students using Grammarly! 🎓

The only taste sweeter than that cake someone left in the office? Winning. A huge congrats to the winners of our inaugural Vanguard Awards! Here are just a few of the impressive things these top teams did to take home an award: 📝 In the past year, T-Mobile has accepted more style guide and brand tone suggestions than any other company using Grammarly Enterprise. 🦄 Indeed was one of the top accounts for the number of GenAI prompts and suggestions used. 🧠 Gusto was a top user of Knowledge Share and snippets with an impressively high CSAT score across 3rd party sites.
