About us
SENKO Advanced Components design and manufacture precise, user-friendly, and application-focused fiber optic connectors that allow network operators to achieve the performance and reliability necessary to support the world's unquenchable demand for data. As you would expect from a Japanese company, precision is paramount to our offering, and we take pride in providing the global communications market with reliable and repeatable components that guarantee business-critical, error-free transmission. We understand the challenges that network operators face in building networks that are not just quick and easy to construct, but also easy to manage and maintain over the complete lifecycle of the network. For this reason, SENKO pays special attention in developing connectors that are easy to identify and access even in when placed in the densest and demanding of applications. The world demands high-performance connectivity ‘always and everywhere’. Our application-focused approach ensures that connectors are optimised for the environment whether it be inside a controlled data centre, or high up on a remote antenna mast. SENKO connectivity is driving next-generation applications that consume unparalleled amounts of data. Super-computing, AI and Big Data are just a few of the applications that demand data rates as high as 400G, 800G, 1,6TB or beyond. Our VSFF (Very Small Form Factor) connectivity is the first of its kind to deliver twice as many optical channels within the standard footprint of legacy transceivers. Whatever your connector requirements or application, SENKO is here to help you. We value every connection.

Co-packaged optics (CPO) adoption nears its inflection point for AI-scale networks. In Marvell’s latest deep dive on Co-packed optics(CPO),their team outlines a projected 2028 inflection point as hyperscalers begin evaluating high-radix, high-bandwidth switch architectures. One part we found especially relevant: the discussion around fiber management at scale. As Marvell notes, a 100T-class system could require nearly 1,000 fibers, making precision connectivity and mechanical reliability critical elements of CPO system design. In the accompanying interview, Marvell’s Chris McCormick underscores this point: “The connectors are a really important aspect of the design.” This is exactly the challenge SENKO’s Emerging Technologies Group (ETG) is working to solve: - high-density optical interconnects - robust and detachable fiber-to-the-chip attach - repeatable alignment for manufacturability - new connector architectures for next-gen CPO systems If you’re tracking the evolution of AI hardware, this is a worthwhile read on Marvell Technology’s blog "Co-packaged Optics: Powering the Next Wave of AI Data Center Innovation" https://lnkd.in/dkGYWegZ SENKO We Value Every Connection #CPO #AIInfrastructure #SNMT #VSFF #FiberToTheChip #Marvell #SiliconPhotonics #EcosystemPartners #ETG #Connectivity #AIHardware
