Today, we're stepping away from the noise. We'll be offline, but on-stream, reflecting on what drives us: our community and the land, trails, and trout streams that call us back to adventure. Whether you're a Scout® Traveler™ or Scout® Terra™ reservation holder, or just someone who loves a good cast, we hope you'll take a moment to unplug and enjoy the view. Hit the link to catch us at our personal “live stream” today. Tag us from your favorite far off place, and we’ll see you out there. https://lnkd.in/dAFa4hxc
About us
Scout is more than just a brand, it’s a legacy steeped in a culture of exploration, caretaking, and hard work. To be a Scout isn‘t just to be a part of a company, it‘s to be a visionary and a leader, someone who seeks new paths and imparts lessons learned to others, leading them forward to new horizons. Here at Scout Motors, we‘re carrying forward the heritage of one of the most iconic American vehicles in history. A vehicle dating back to 1960, one that forged the path for future generations of rugged SUVs and will do so once again. Together with the help of our community, we’re designing, engineering, and building the next generation of electric trucks and rugged SUVs for the doers and the ones who can’t be held back. For the ones who roll up their sleeves, push forward, endure the elements, and get the job done. No frills, no excuses, no quitting. We are growing every day and are seeking the next generation of Scouts to join our ranks. So, to all the hard workers out there, the ones who are willing to carry on the Scout legacy, reimagine an American icon, create jobs for Americans, and lead the charge into the future of electric trucks and rugged SUVs, we‘re calling on you to join us. Because #TheWorldNeedsScouts.

For Anna Ardigo, Cell Stack Integration Engineer at Scout Motors, real power comes from collaboration — especially when working with a team as bold and innovative as the technology they’re building. From rallying with her “small but mighty” department to tackle complex challenges, to celebrating wins with teammates who feel like family, Anna’s journey is fueled by curiosity, creativity, and determination. Whether she’s crossing off sticky notes at her desk, savoring quiet mornings with coffee and a fantasy novel, or diving into strategy board games with friends, Anna brings focus, passion, and joy to everything she does. Discover Anna’s story and the drive behind her work at Scout Motors on our Scout Stories blog: https://lnkd.in/ebcvWHMk #TheWorldNeedsScouts

We’re not just building a factory, we're building opportunity. Meet MJ, South Carolina grown as they come. He left his hometown to chase a career in automotive, but something called him back to the Palmetto State. For MJ, it’s a place to raise his family, reconnect with his roots, and help build Scout Motors into something special. His homecoming is part of a bigger story unfolding here in Blythewood. From Blythewood to Charlotte — we’re growing our footprint in the Carolinas. We're excited to lay the next brick on our journey by establishing our corporate operations in Charlotte's Commonwealth development in the Plaza Midwood neighborhood. Within driving distance of our Production Center in South Carolina, this location will further solidify our presence in the Carolinas and enable seamless coordination between manufacturing, corporate, and technical functions. We look forward to ramping up vehicle development in one of the nation’s fastest-growing regions and rising automotive hubs. #TheWorldNeedsScouts

The details about Erik’s 1973 International™ Scout II™ never came up in his audition, but soon enough he learned he had booked the project and that the shoot would take place in Franklin, Tennessee, for the launch of an unspecified EV. As fate would have it, that “unspecified EV” turned out to be none other than the new Scout® Traveler™ and Terra™. Head over to the Scout Stories Blog to read about Erik's truck and his fortuitous casting in one of Scout Motors’ photo shoots for the new Traveler™ SUV and Terra™ truck. https://lnkd.in/gSq3GeYj Photos by Jon Morgan. #TheWorldNeedsScouts
