Greatful for National Science Foundation (NSF) funding in the early stages of PseudolithIC
PseudolithIC, headquartered in Goleta, California, is driving innovation in radio-frequency (RF) semiconductor technology through its proprietary hybrid integration platform. The company specializes in integrating high-performance compound semiconductor chiplets with large-diameter, low-cost silicon wafers, delivering next-generation solutions for RF and millimeter-wave telecommunication applications. This technology is aimed at transforming both the technical performance and economics of wireless communications for markets including terrestrial and satellite communications, aerospace, and IoT. In January 2025, PseudolithIC announced the successful close of a $6 million seed funding round led by Entrada Ventures, with participation from Foothill Ventures and Uncork Capital, to accelerate the commercialization of their hybrid semiconductor products. Notably, PseudolithIC’s early stage funding came from the National Science Foundation. I’m thrilled to share that I’ve accepted a new role as Head of Talent at PseudolithIC! What makes this next chapter especially meaningful is the opportunity to reunite with Florian Herrault, now CEO of PseudolithIC and a former colleague from our time together at HRL Laboratories. It’s an honor to join him and Jim Buckwalter in building a company with bold vision and deep technical roots in semiconductors.
