During this season of gratitude, we at Papa Johns are giving thanks for 30 years of partnership with Bill Freitas and his team at Colonel’s Limited. Since Bill and his team opened their first restaurant in Sterling, VA in 1993, they not only built a pizza empire in the D.C. and Baltimore areas, they changed how the pizza industry operates.

We are celebrating another franchisee growth milestone! 🍕 Multi-unit Papa Johns franchisee, Chris Patel and Pie Investments Mangement, have expanded their portfolio by acquiring 85 restaurants across Washington, D.C. and Baltimore and have announced plans to add 50+ restaurants over the next five years. “Having served in the National Guard and experienced disaster response firsthand, I know how much a hot meal means during a traumatic event.” When tragedy struck at Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport, our Louisville team, led by Director of Operations Bobby Sageser, partnered with WHAS Crusade for Children to deliver food to first responders and investigators.
