Let's meet Roxanne De La Rosa! Born and raised in the Valley, Roxanne knows firsthand the barriers many low-income students face. Growing up in South Phoenix and attending schools in the Roosevelt School District, she’s experienced the challenges and triumphs of Arizona’s education system. Attending Arizona State University was a life-changing experience that opened doors she never imagined possible. Now, as an education solutions reporter at PBS Arizona, Roxanne is passionate about shining a light on inequities in education and telling stories that drive understanding and change. “Even today, there are still many obstacles to accessing a quality education and I want to be part of the solution.” You can read more of Roxanne's Education Solutions stories here: http://bit.ly/4oOmT8D
