In northern and central Haiti, climate shocks and rising violence are driving food insecurity for rural families. Through the United Nations OCHA-managed UN Global Emergency Fund CERF, FAO is supporting 1,200 vulnerable families with cash assistance, seeds and other key agricultural inputs. In eastern Chad, families fleeing the crisis in Sudan are receiving vital food assistance.
