    🌍 New Investment Announcement | MOL Switch joins Hystar’s Series C Round We’re excited to announce that MOL Switch has joined the Series C funding round of Hystar, a Norwegian green hydrogen technology company revolutionizing PEM electrolyser efficiency and scalability. Hystar’s proprietary technology utilizes membranes that are 90% thinner than conventional designs, enabling highly efficient and safe electrolysis systems purpose-built for mass manufacturing. The company raised over USD 36 million in this round, complemented by EUR 26 million in grants from the EU Innovation Fund. These funds will accelerate the deployment of Hystar’s 1.5 GW/year fully automated gigafactory, expected to go online in 2027 and scale to 4.5 GW by 2031. This investment aligns with MOL Group’s “BLUE ACTION 2035” decarbonization strategy and represents a key step toward building the next generation of clean energy infrastructure. I'm honored joining Global Maritime Decarbonisation 2025 summit in Amsterdam. Thank you for #GlobalMaritimeDecarbonisation and Ammonia Energy Association. I had the privilege of participating in a panel discussion titled "Ammonia as a Marine Fuel - Scaling from First Movers to Industry-Wide Adoption." The panel was moderated by #RobStevens and included esteemed colleagues #DanielBarcarolo and #CeesBoon. Under Rob's leadership, we discussed critical topics such as regulatory pathways, port readiness, safety considerations, and training needs. During the discussion, I shared my insights on IMO regulations and MOL's decarbonization strategy, emphasizing the importance of building a clean fuel and energy value chain within this context. I also outlined our business strategy aimed at achieving net-zero emissions by 2050. As a first mover, Mitsui O.S.K. 🌱【Speaking Engagement】UNC Cleantech Summit 2025 🌎 MOL Switch LLC had the privilege of participating in the UNC Cleantech Summit 2025, hosted by the University of North Carolina — one of the largest university-led cleantech events in the United States, with over 1,500 attendees.   Our team joined two panel sessions: 🚢 Mitsutoshi Morishita spoke on the “Impact & Global Logistics” panel, discussing sustainability efforts in global shipping and ports. 🌏 Daisuke Yoshino contributed to the “East Asia’s Sustainability Leadership” panel, highlighting climate tech investments and initiatives coming out of Japan and East Asia.   The event featured a dynamic mix of experts from ports, marine science, government, and startups, sharing perspectives on building a sustainable and resilient global future.
