  • Last week, Infinitive held its November Core Day, providing an opportunity to align on priorities, acknowledge progress, and reconnect as a unified team.  We opened with a focus on one of our core fundamentals, as Nicholas Cichon shared what Fundamental #12: “Kick ass for our clients and fellow Infinitivians” means to him.🫏🌟 His insights were a powerful reminder of how dedication, teamwork, and a commitment to excellence shape the impact we deliver every day! Each Core Day, we also honor the individuals who go above and beyond. This month, we’re proud to recognize Christopher Marano and Elias Costello as our Infinistars! ⭐👏 They both exemplify leadership, integrity, and the values that move Infinitive forward. Congratulations! We concluded the day with a happy hour at Ometeo, offering time to connect and reflect outside the workplace. Huge thanks to Michelle (Viar) Robertson, SHRM-CP for bringing the day together and making it a standout Core Day! Infinitive’s people-first approach remains central to how we grow, innovate, and succeed. Investing in our team is foundational to our continued progress.

  • Infinitive recently partnered with Databricks to host a successful Databricks Day at the University of Delaware, led by Infinitive’s Brandon Peretin and Jeff Theobald.   This event brought together more than 40 attendees from Delaware’s IT and Research teams to explore how Databricks and Infinitive are driving data innovation across Higher Education and the Public Sector.   A huge thank-you to Morgan Patterson from Databricks for her partnership and continued collaboration, and to Sunita Chandrasekaran from the University of Delaware for helping make this event such a smooth success!   It was inspiring to see the excitement around Databricks’ capabilities, from Lakehouse and Unity Catalog to Mosaic AI, Genie, and Agent Bricks, and how these technologies are being applied to real-world higher-ed use cases like student analytics, real-time streaming, and research acceleration.   We’re thrilled to continue empowering universities and public institutions to unlock data intelligence and innovation.

  • Why Good AI Depends on Great Data We’ve all seen it, tools like ChatGPT or Copilot deliver confident, detailed answers that sound completely right… until you dig in and realize they’re based on bad or incomplete data. That’s the core challenge with AI today: if the data foundation is weak, the intelligence built on top will be too. AI doesn’t “know,” it predicts. Those predictions are only as trustworthy as the data feeding them. Without a clear data strategy, even the most advanced models can reinforce bias, miss key insights, or lead teams down the wrong path. To build reliable, business-ready AI, organizations need: ✅ A unified data architecture that eliminates silos ✅ Clear governance and lineage to ensure trust and compliance ✅ Clean, trusted data that drives confident decisions and impact That’s where Infinitive and Databricks come in, helping organizations modernize their data platforms, strengthen governance with Unity Catalog, and unlock AI that’s built on trusted, transparent, and well-managed data. Because the truth is simple: you can’t have good AI without great data. Ready to strengthen your data foundation for AI? Reach out to Infinitive to learn how our team can help your organization turn trusted data into business-ready intelligence. https://lnkd.in/g8NNrKXw

  • Data Tip Friday: The Hidden Cost of “Messy” Data Bad data doesn’t just slow down analytics, it creates ripple effects across your entire organization. When data is inconsistent, duplicated, or incomplete, it can erode trust, distort insights, and stall innovation. Here’s how to stay ahead: ✅ Establish clear data ownership – Every dataset should have an accountable owner to ensure accuracy and reliability. ✅ Automate governance – Tools like Databricks Unity Catalog make it easier to manage permissions, track lineage, and maintain compliance at scale. ✅ Continuously monitor quality – Build automated validation checks directly into your pipelines to catch anomalies before they impact reporting or AI models. When your data is clean, connected, and governed, your teams move faster and make smarter decisions. At Infinitive, we help organizations turn their data into a trusted, high-performing asset, accelerating innovation with Databricks’ unified platform for analytics and AI.
