  • Video telematics isn't just about knowing where your trucks are anymore. When FleetSeek deployed IoT-enabled cameras across their fleet, they saw something remarkable: a 50% drop in accident claims almost immediately. Their drivers didn't suddenly become better. They could finally prove what happened. The shift from "Where is my truck?" to "What exactly happened?" is transforming fleet operations: → AI-powered systems now reduce accident frequency by 45% through real-time driver coaching → Instant video evidence cuts collision claim costs by an average of 27% → Remote diagnostics slash diagnosis time by 70% and repair time by 20% But here's what makes this evolution truly powerful: Modern video telematics combines HD footage with vehicle diagnostics, creating a complete operational picture. It's the difference between a flat GPS dot and a three-dimensional view of everything happening on the road. We just published a deep dive into five ways video telematics is fundamentally changing fleet management, from fraud prevention to predictive maintenance. With cargo theft up 13% year-over-year and distracted driving affecting 70% of fleets, this technology has moved from "nice to have" to mission-critical. • Going from 1 device to 100+ large-scale installations teaches you things no tutorial will. Join us on December 9 as Sunday Power's Software Engineer Endre Ulberg shares the hard lessons: what breaks at scale, how to troubleshoot distributed fleets, and why your connectivity platform choice matters more than you think. Endre and Parker LeBlanc, Staff Software Engineer at Hologram, will be answering your questions live during a 30 minute Q&A. Real architecture. Real problems. Real solutions. • One failed pump. Six-figure savings. That's what IoT-enabled predictive maintenance delivered for Sachsenmilch, one of Europe's most modern dairy processing plants. Germany, Austria, and Switzerland are home to 3+ million manufacturing companies. Many are family-owned businesses perfecting specialized processes over generations. Now they're adding IoT to maintain their competitive edge. We analyzed the current state of IoT adoption across the DACH region, from adoption rates (50% for remote monitoring in Germany vs. 28% globally) to verified case studies showing real ROI. Discover how DACH manufacturers are implementing predictive maintenance, overcoming cross-border connectivity challenges, and building the factories of tomorrow: https://lnkd.in/g68BFZjK

  • Real-time traffic management sounds futuristic, but it's operational right now in cities across Germany and Switzerland. Here's the technical setup: LTE-M connected sensors and cameras monitor vehicle flow at intersections. That data feeds into a traffic management platform that adjusts signal timing dynamically based on current conditions, not fixed schedules. Why LTE-M specifically? It supports mobility, handles frequent data updates, and provides the 50-100 millisecond latency these applications need. WiFi and Bluetooth don't have the range. Older cellular technologies don't have the power efficiency. Cities in the DACH region are taking this further by integrating traffic data with air quality monitoring. Herrenberg measures traffic volume alongside noise levels. When patterns indicate increased emissions or noise pollution, they implement targeted interventions: adjusting signal timing to reduce idling, routing traffic away from residential areas during peak times. The result is measurable: smoother traffic flow, lower emissions, improved air quality. It's infrastructure that actually adapts to how people use the city. Watch the video to see how the technology works and why these specific technical choices matter for urban deployments.

  • 5 mistakes developers make when scaling IoT globally 👇 Your pilot worked great. Then you went global and everything broke. Sound familiar? These 5 deployment mistakes cost companies millions in failed IoT projects every year—but they're completely avoidable with the right planning. Our Co-Founder & CTO, Gal Malach (גל מלח), recently sat down with Jillian Kaplan at Innovators of Things to dive into how we are shaping the future of cloud #infrastructure, #networking silicon and the #AI era. #Innovation doesn’t happen in silos, it's about people, collaboration, and the willingness to adapt. As Gal puts it: “Innovation isn’t about a single product or feature, it’s about building a team that can evolve and adapt as the world changes.” You can check out the full episode here 👉https://lnkd.in/eQysSZpT #cloudinfrastructure #semiconductors #startups #techculture Hologram Inc.

  • Most global IoT deployments fail—not because of bad ideas, but because connectivity challenges that seem manageable at small scale become deployment-ending problems across continents. We've seen it happen over and over: A pilot program works perfectly in one region, then falls apart when devices hit real-world conditions in different markets. Coverage gaps appear. Costs spiral. Security becomes a nightmare. After working with thousands of global deployments, we've identified the 5 critical pitfalls that derail IoT projects—and more importantly, how to avoid them: ❌ Misunderstanding coverage and roaming gaps ❌ Treating security and compliance as an afterthought ❌ Designing only for pilot scale ❌ Underestimating data management complexity ❌ Missing hidden costs that compound at scale The good news? These problems are easier to prevent than fix after deployment. Our latest guide breaks down each pitfall with specific strategies for frequency planning, multi-carrier redundancy, edge processing, compliance frameworks, and cost optimization across 190+ countries.
