Revolutionizing employee leave with empathy and technology that saves HR & People Ops teams over 20 hours per leave.
About us
Save time, stay compliant and save money while creating the best leave experience for your employees. Tilt is a third-party leave administration software built with our own proprietary technology and automation, backed by leave law experts, software engineers, and Leave Success Managers that blend software and the human touch. The problem is that you’re overworked, unsure, and unsupported. The average leave takes 25 hours to manually manage, and getting it wrong can mean lawsuits which can end up costing nearly $78,000. You want a smoother process and assurance that you’re legally compliant, but: you don’t have the bandwidth, time, budget, or expertise, and great dedicated leave management that works is hard to find. Confusing spreadsheets, random email chains or not offering anything are just temporary fixes that end up costing your company thousands of dollars each year while you and your employees are left feeling lost. You need a solution that will scale for you and with you. That’s why Tilt was created. To make leave NOT suck. Sparked by one too many unjust leave experiences, our Founder and CEO Jen Henderson has been leading this charge since 2017 because she knew there had to be a better way. And it’s here. With streamlined processes, an HR dashboard, employee views, compliance and management for all leave types, HRIS integration, payroll calculations, and a dedicated Tilter for you and your employee to offer support through the entire journey. Tilt will save you time, money, and undue stress. When an employee requests a leave, we’ll automatically determine eligibility, create custom step-by-step instructions, track FMLA usage along with any other time they quality for, calculate their payroll, and put in all in one place for you and them to see. Finally, have time to be there for your people and help your company thrive, but for a price you can invest in. Book some time to chat with us. https://hellotilt.com/

Human Resources Management Systems (HRMS)
Tilt is the leave experience platform that brings clarity, confidence, and consistency to one of the most critical moments in the workplace: employee leave. For too long, managing leave has been confusing, fragmented, and stressful for HR teams, managers, and employees alike. Policies overlap, compliance risks loom, and the most human moments of work are too often buried under paperwork. Tilt changes that. By automating the administrative burden and surfacing the right guidance at the right time, Tilt gives visibility and control while keeping the employee experience human. Smart automation and AI handle compliance so HR can focus on conversations, culture, and care. With Tilt, leave is no longer a disruption – it’s a cornerstone of employee well-being and workplace culture. Clear, trusted, and seamless.

HR leaders know the struggle all too well: endless requests and small to-dos can swallow your day in the blink of an eye, leaving little time for the work that truly impacts culture, employee experience, and strategy. A gentle reminder that the holidays are coming. And for a lot of people, this will be their first holiday season without someone they love. Let’s be the people who reach out and make it feel a little less lonely. ❤️🩹❤️ If you have a friend or family member who’s grieving, even a short call or text letting them know you're thinking of them can go a long way. If that’s someone on your team at work, you can still make a real difference. A simple check-in A little flexibility. A reminder that you see what they’re carrying. Small things matter this time of year. Don’t overthink it! Send the message, make the call, be the one who shows up 🙌

With five generations in the workforce — each with different motivations and fears — leaders agree: in an AI world, keeping humans at the center is non-negotiable. At our Future of Work & Care roundtable, Jennifer Henderson (Tilt), Karen Pavlin (ServiceNow), and Ana Pease (Fortinet) explored how leaders can help prevent burnout in an AI-first world. 💬 “Use AI as a tool in your toolbox, not AI for AI’s sake.” AI should serve people, not replace them. And when deployed thoughtfully, it can spark a human renaissance: freeing time for creativity, curiosity, and connection. ICYMI: find out how AI is reshaping the workplace in our Future of Work Report, featuring insights and resources from Tilt and ServiceNow: https://lnkd.in/eGMCZik5

Managing leave is complex. There’s no doubt about it. But with the right tools, complex doesn’t have to equal overwhelming. ❌ As Hollis Baker, our Product Marketing Manager, explains ⬇️… the future of leave management is about giving employees the tools to handle leave on their own schedule, while helping HR streamline the process. Beyond efficiency, the real focus is on creating a human-centered experience. By expanding accessibility and keeping compliance at the core, solutions like Tilley Voice let HR teams focus on what matters most: connecting with employees, supporting them through life’s big transitions, and making leave seamless and empathetic for everyone.

Leave management is evolving, and automation is at the center of that change. ⏸️ But let’s take a step back: automating HR processes isn’t ALL about efficiency. When it comes to leave, it’s about people. Employees want their requests to be handled seamlessly, yes, but they also want to feel seen and supported. A lack of connection or clarity can turn what should be a smooth experience into a stressful one, even when your systems are “efficient.” The real challenge (and the real opportunity) with leave management is balancing automation with empathy. Repetitive, admin tasks like tracking leave balances, updating records, and sending reminders can and should be automated. That frees HR teams to focus on what machines can’t: personalized check-ins, nuanced conversations, and ensuring employees feel confident in the process. When this balance is struck, leave becomes a tool to build trust, reduce stress, and create a better overall employee experience. Automation doesn’t have to mean impersonal; it can make every human interaction count more. ➕ For practical tips on how to achieve this balance, check out the link in the comments!
