We were proud to be a sponsor of the Essex North Shore Agricultural & Technical School's Larkin Gala this year. This annual event is an opportunity for attendees to promote and support the school. Jason Ellis, PLS, who also volunteers as an Advisory Board member, represented Hancock Associates and had a great time connecting with fellow attendees and supporting our longtime client. #HancockAssociates #EssexNorthShoreAgriculturalAndTechnicalSchool #EssexTech

We were excited to attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony for Little Folks Adventure Alley alongside architect Arrowstreet and landscape architect Copley Wolff. Little Folks Day Care, a non-profit early childhood center in Boston, received a grant from the Community Economic Development Assistance Corporation (CEDAC)’s Children’s Investment Fund to transform their outdoor space into a new play area. The redesigned space features age-appropriate equipment made from recycled materials, natural elements, and interactive zones that encourage physical activity, social interaction, and imaginative play. Hancock Team: Katie Cruz, PE, LEED AP, Joseph Levasseur, P.L.S., E.I.T., and Joe Peznola, P.E. #HancockAssociates #LittleFolksDayCare #BostonMA

Adam Mooshian, one of our Staff Surveyors, loves spending time outdoors, especially hiking some of New Hampshire’s toughest trails. He’s tackled the Hancock Loop Trail, Mount Carrigain (named for surveyor Phillip Carrigain, who is famous for his 1816 map of New Hampshire), and Mount Cube, where he located survey markers on the ledges. Adam always keeps an eye out for boundary markers, like the ones from the George Washington treaty with Canada. We can't wait to see where he goes next! #HancockAssociates #MeetTheTeam #StaffSurveyors

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, our team hosted a bake sale and collected donations for the Ellie Fund, a nonprofit organization that provides everyday support to breast cancer patients and their families. From transportation and groceries to meal and household assistance, the Ellie Fund helps ease the demands of treatment so patients can focus on healing and time with loved ones. We’re proud to support their meaningful work. #HancockAssociates #Philanthropy #TheEllieFund #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth

Our Project Engineer, Tom Sachs, E.I.T., was at a home in Hamilton, MA performing a percolation test. This test determines a soil's ability to absorb and drain water, which is a critical step in designing a septic system. It measures the rate of how quickly the water drains from the hole, which then helps determine if the site is suitable for a traditional septic system. #HancockAssociates #OurTeam #InTheField
