💼 Now Hiring: Oracle Fusion Tax Consultant (Full-Time, Remote) 📍 Client Location: Dallas, TX | 💻 Remote Opportunity | 🕒 Full-Time We’re looking for a highly skilled Oracle Fusion Tax Consultant with deep expertise in Oracle Fusion Tax and Vertex tax engines to support tax configuration, compliance, and system integrations across global operations. This role combines tax domain knowledge with technical troubleshooting to ensure accurate tax calculation, reporting, and compliance in a high-volume, multi-jurisdictional environment. 🔧 Responsibilities Tax Configuration & Compliance Configure and maintain Oracle Fusion Tax and Vertex for Sales & Use Tax, VAT, GST, and Withholding Tax. Manage Tax Rules, Tax Rates, Tax Reporting Codes, and Registrations across jurisdictions. Support Intercompany Tax Compliance, Procurement Taxation, and Supply Chain Taxation (SFO, drop shipments). Ensure tax exemption handling, transfer pricing, and tax accounting accuracy. Configure and troubleshoot Vertex tax integrations with Oracle Cloud AP, AR, and Intercompany. Debug tax calculation issues and optimize Vertex API performance. Write and debug SQL queries for tax data (ZX_LINES, ZX_RATES, AP_INVOICES, AR_TRANSACTIONS, etc.). Reconcile tax data between Fusion Tax, Vertex, and General Ledger (GL). Reporting, Compliance & Audit Generate Tax Liability, Exemption, and Withholding Reports. Support VAT/GST/Sales & Use Tax compliance, SOX controls, and audit documentation. Manage Vertex quarterly updates and Oracle Cloud Tax patches, ensuring all configurations are tested and validated. Manage Oracle SRs and Vertex support tickets for tax issues. Collaborate with Finance, Tax, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams for issue resolution. Document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for tax processing and audit readiness. 🎯 Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience with Oracle Fusion Tax and Vertex. Strong understanding of indirect taxation (Sales & Use Tax, VAT, GST, Withholding). Proficiency in SQL for tax data analysis and reconciliation. Hands-on experience with ERP tax integrations, especially Oracle Cloud.
