Grateful doesn't quite cover it. This Thanksgiving, we're celebrating a year of momentum: new offices, bigger teams, expanded capabilities, and extraordinary outcomes for clients across the country. From mission critical projects to workplace transformations to resort developments, our teams proved that technical depth + dedication to details = results that matter. Thanks to the colleagues who bring good humor to complicated situations and the clients who trust us with their boldest projects. Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at G&T! 🦃 #Thanksgiving #Gratitude #TeamWork

Today, we celebrated Thanksgiving a bit early in our New York office with our annual DEI Potluck event! Our employees turned into chefs to bring in dishes of ‘flavors from around the world’ for everyone to enjoy. While Thanksgiving is about coming together, we couldn’t resist having a bit of friendly competition for the best savory, sweet, and most creative dish. A huge thank you to everyone who participated and helped make the event such a fun and memorable celebration of community and culture. Already counting down to next year’s potluck! 🍽️🧡 #DEI #Thanksgiving #CompanyCulture #WorkplaceCulture #NYCOffice

Last week, our G&T NY Women’s Group partnered with EvensonBest to host a beginner's Mahjong lesson. While we might not be at the professional level just yet, the event allowed everyone to learn the fundamentals, share plenty of laughs, and make some new connections within the industry. Special thank you to EvensonBest for lending their space for the event and Mix and Mahj Association for the instruction, tablescapes, and game sets. #GTWomen #GardinerandTheobald #EvensonBest #MixAndMahj

Proud to support Ytech as Owner's Representative on this milestone project. Congratulations to the entire team!
After years of vision, planning, design, and disciplined execution, I’m happy to share that Ytech has successfully closed on a $565 million construction loan for The Residences at 1428 Brickell, with financing led by J.P. Morgan and Sculptor Capital Management. This financing represents not only one of the largest residential condo loans in the U.S. this year, but also the culmination of years of extraordinary work by Yamal Yidios and the entire Ytech team to bring this groundbreaking project to life. The Residences at 1428 Brickell is more than a development — it’s the realization of a long-term vision rooted in design integrity, innovation, and enduring value. We are deeply grateful to our partners whose conviction, expertise, and collaboration made this possible: J.P. Morgan, Sculptor Capital Management, JLL, Greenberg Traurig, LLP, Kapp Morrison LLP, Gibson Dunn, and Adler & Stachenfeld LLP. Eric Fisher, Kimberly LeCompte, Stuart T. Kapp A special thank you to Melissa R. and Brian Gaswirth, CFA of JLL Capital Markets for their leadership and commitment throughout this process. Their dedication and precision were instrumental in helping guide this complex transaction to a successful close. We are honored to partner with such outstanding institutions as we bring this extraordinary tower to life. Innovate to Thrive: What We Learned About the Future of Work Our own Rebekah (Tate) Kirkwood moderated "The Future of Workplaces" at yesterday's CoreNet Global Summit in Anaheim, leading a candid discussion with CoreNet Global’s Young Leaders with BCG’s Alan Kocher and Samsung Semiconductor’s Anais Myers about workplace design in 2030 and beyond. The response from the packed room reinforced what we're seeing across our projects: what works for one organization can be a complete miss for another. Real estate leaders can't rely on assumptions about what end users need. The future of work isn't about following trends – it's about asking better questions and designing around the specific needs of your workforce. For example, Samsung is researching how students learn at institutions like The University of Texas at Austin and applying those insights to corporate spaces. Law firms are questioning whether they need private offices. Teams want flexibility – but not always the flexibility we assume they want. Rebekah's work leading project management across Texas gives her a front-row seat to these shifts. She's helping clients navigate exactly these questions – understanding what their people actually need and translating that into smart workplace strategy. If you're rethinking your approach to workplace design, she's someone worth talking to. As this year's CoreNet theme reminded us: "Innovate to Thrive: Creating meaningful change, leading with purpose." That starts with listening to the right voices and challenging our assumptions about what the future should look like. What's surprising you about what your people actually want from their workplace? #CoreNetGlobalSummit #CoreNet2025 #WorkplaceExperience #FutureOfWork #CorporateRealEstate #WorkplaceInnovation #CNGSummit #CNG25Anaheim #CorporateRealEstate
