  • New nurses carry more than clinical knowledge. They carry the stories that shaped them. For McKenna Steffey, that story includes her grandparents’ heart struggles, her father’s passing, and the one nurse who cared for him like family. Today McKenna brings that same compassion to her patients in a cardiac cath lab, where every decision counts. Tools like the CORE 500™ and Eko+ help her listen with clarity and trust what she hears. From detecting a missed murmur during clinicals, to catching an irregular rhythm in her own son, Eko has been part of her journey to becoming a confident, capable nurse. Her path has been challenging, inspiring, and deeply personal. And it reflects what so many new nurses experience as they learn to balance skill with empathy. • Fierce Biotech's Fierce 50 Awards Gala is happening today, and we are honored to be named in the innovation category. In 2013, Eko began with a simple idea: reimagine the stethoscope for a new era of care. That idea has grown into 5 FDA clearances for digital stethoscopes, 4 FDA clearances for cardiac AI, and millions of heart sounds that now form one of the world’s largest cardiovascular datasets. We are grateful to be recognized alongside so many inspiring leaders across healthcare and life sciences. Learn more about our Fierce 50 recognition: https://lnkd.in/gxSm7625

  • ❤️🌍 Dr. Sarah Imam turned one volunteer trip into a global health mission and a life-changing curriculum for future clinicians. Through The Citadel Medical Camp, her students learn medicine by serving thousands of patients in Kenya each year. With Eko, they learn how technology can deepen empathy, strengthen clinical skills, and help them listen with greater clarity. This is what care looks like when service leads the way. We are proud to support Dr. Imam and her team through Eko Cares. Read her full story: https://lnkd.in/eVcXwSy8

  • 🌐 We asked Mitchell Fong, former Vice President of Virtual Care at Renown Health, who led telehealth at Renown Health, a simple question: “𝘏𝘰𝘸 𝘩𝘢𝘴 𝘌𝘬𝘰 𝘛𝘦𝘭𝘦𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘵𝘩 𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘳𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘭 𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘴?” The team needed a solution that could perform reliably in low-bandwidth environments, including rural communities and correctional facilities. Eko’s ability to livestream and store-and-forward successfully in those settings made expansion possible. Because access shouldn’t depend on a ZIP code — or a broadband speed. 🔗 Learn more about Eko Telehealth: https://lnkd.in/gN9VCPb3 #RuralHealth #Telehealth #VirtualCare #AccessToCare #EkoHealth

  • 🎉We're proud to share that Eko and the Global Access to Cardiovascular Therapeutics and Diagnostics (G-ACT) Foundation announced results from the DAMSUN-HF study, a prospective validation showing that 𝗔𝗜-𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗱𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘂𝗿𝗲 with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF) at the point of care. The study, Detection and Management of Heart Failure with SENSORA® in Underserved Nations – Heart Failure (DAMSUN-HF), marks a major step toward equitable access to early cardiac detection. 📊 Conducted across district clinics and tertiary centers in Ghana, the study found that Eko’s Low EF AI achieved 97% sensitivity and 94% negative predictive value, delivering specialist-level accuracy even in low-resource settings. 🩺 Presented as a Late-Breaking Clinical Trial at the American Heart Association Scientific Sessions and simultaneously published in Circulation, DAMSUN-HF demonstrates that AI-powered auscultation can integrate seamlessly into existing hub-and-spoke health systems, enabling earlier detection where cardiology and imaging resources are limited. 🎙️ “DAMSUN-HF not only validates AI-enabled auscultation in Africa, it illuminates a future where every heartbeat, no matter where it begins, has an equal chance to be heard.” -- Alexis Kofi Okoh, M.D, Executive Chairman, G-ACT Foundation 🎙️ "When a frontline nurse or community health worker can identify patients at risk for reduced ejection fraction heart failure within seconds, health professionals can triage earlier and act faster in regions where echocardiography and cardiology resources are limited.” -- Connor Landgraf, CEO & Co-Founder, Eko Health This milestone underscores a shared vision: leveraging AI to bridge innovation and inclusion, ensuring that advanced cardiac detection reaches every corner of care. 🔗 Read the full press release: https://lnkd.in/gvK9mT6P #EkoHealth #SENSORA #AIinHealthcare #Cardiology #HeartFailure #GlobalHealth #HealthEquity

🚀 We’re proud to be featured in the Global AI Founder Playbook, published today by Founders Forum Group in partnership with the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB). The Playbook highlights how leading AI companies are scaling globally — and why Singapore is becoming a key hub for advancing regulated medical AI. In the report, CEO Connor Landgraf discusses how Singapore’s forward-looking regulatory approach and globally recognized healthcare ecosystem make it an ideal launchpad for scaling Eko’s FDA-cleared cardiac AI technology across Asia. 🎙️ “Singapore offers a unique combination of strengths that are critical for scaling AI in healthcare, including clear regulatory pathways, world-class hospitals, and deep local expertise in both data science and medicine... What excites us most is the opportunity to set a new global standard of care: one where a frontline provider in Singapore, San Francisco, or anywhere in the world can use our technology to detect life-threatening conditions early and intervene before it’s too late.” As Eko continues to expand internationally, Singapore is becoming a cornerstone for validating and deploying AI solutions that help clinicians detect and monitor heart and lung disease earlier and with greater precision. 📘 Read the full report and Connor’s interview here: https://lnkd.in/ejjQmaRy
