About us

BLACKBIRD.AI protects organizations from narrative attacks that cause financial, operational, and reputational harm. Our Constellation AI-driven Narrative Intelligence Platform identifies key narratives that impact your organization/industry, the influence behind them, the networks they touch, the anomalous bot behavior that scales them, and the cohorts and communities that connect them. This information enables organizations to proactively understand narrative threats as they scale and become harmful for better strategic decision-making. A diverse team of AI experts, threat intelligence analysts, journalists, and national security professionals founded Blackbird.AI to defend information integrity and fight a new class of narrative threats. ✨ A year can change everything. ✨ Last year, I stepped away from work for two months to take care of my mom during a time when my family needed me most. It was one of the hardest decisions I’ve made in my career and one of the easiest, because of the support I received from the incredible executive team at BLACKBIRD.AI. I’m deeply grateful to our CEO Wasim K. for giving me the space and trust to prioritize my family. That compassion didn’t just impact my life, it strengthened my commitment to the work we do and the people I get to do it with. Fast forward one year: I’m back at this milestone with a full heart, celebrating my 4-year anniversary at Blackbird and now leading our 2026 Annual Operating Plan, more energized, aligned, and dedicated than ever. It’s amazing what difference a year can make… how much growth, clarity, and purpose can emerge when you’re supported not just as an employee, but as a human being. Honored to be part of this journey. Excited for what’s ahead. 🚀 Here’s to the next chapter. #Leadership #Gratitude #CareerJourney #WomenInLeadership #WorkLifeBalance #CompanyCulture #EmployeeExperience #GrowthMindset #LifeAtBlackbirdAI #Sabbatical #LeadWithEmpathy #PeopleFirst #WorkingCaregivers #CareerMilestones #ReturnToWork #WellbeingAtWork #ProfessionalGrowth #WomenInTech #LeadershipMatters

CEO at Blackbird.AI - Protecting Organizations from Narrative Attacks.

I’ve been waiting seven years for this inflection point... - Gartner just released a new report and an entire book (World Without Truth, Dave Aron, Andrew Frank) stating that by 2027, half of all enterprises will invest in disinformation security and TrustOps, with more than $30B flowing into this space by 2028. - The US Army stood up the 1st Theater Information Advantage Detachment to counter influence in INDOPACOM. - CISOs and CEOs at public companies have confided in me they expect a 25% market-cap hit from a single narrative attack. - A cybersecurity veteran told me that shareholders are beginning to pressure boards to invest in early detection of physical threats driven by narrative escalation that impact their CEOs and c-suites. - A Four-Star General told me he loses more sleep over the work Blackbird does (what he called the gray matter war) over nuclear conflict because “at least nuclear has a playbook”... I didn't sleep easy that night, but it also made me truly reflect about how critical our mission has become and how far the world has evolved it’s thinking. Leaders are beginning to understand that the attack surface has mutated. The game doesn't end with endpoints or sentiment analysis. It’s PERCEPTION itself that is the danger. Pereception is the layer that determines what people believe is real or unreal. This is why we’re now seeing threat intel, strategic comms, and AI innovation budgets fueling Narrative Intelligence, often driven directly by CEOs and boards. So do you have a Perception Problem? Would you even know? When it hits you, it hits HARD and blindsides your best laid plans. Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the face. BLACKBIRD.AI was built for this moment. Every day another Global 2000 company or national security organization comes to us to help safeguard their future with our technology. If you want to see what the industry is saying about Narrative Intelligence and Disinformation Security, here’s some more information and links to a set of recent reports. We're here to help! https://lnkd.in/eyuEfJe7

From #Trending to #Targeted: The Viral Side of Influencer Risk Influencers shape opinions, drive markets, and can redefine reputations with a single post. But the same reach that makes them powerful also makes them vulnerable, turning admiration into attack in hours. For enterprises, this is more than a reputation issue. Influencers sit at the center of today’s narrative ecosystem, where targeted manipulation can ripple through markets, damage brands, and erode public trust. The World Economic Forum identifies misinformation-driven narrative manipulation as a top global risk, and influencers are often the flashpoints where those narratives ignite. Join us for a 20-minute LinkedIn Live session to unpack how influencers become narrative targets, explore real-world examples of viral reputational risk, and see how narrative intelligence helps organizations anticipate, understand, and counter these fast-moving threats.

  • An AI coding assistant was quietly turned into an autonomous hacker that carried out most of an espionage campaign against about 30 organizations, and that is a preview of where cyber and narrative attacks are heading. In our latest blog, CEO Wasim Khaled breaks down what happened in the Anthropic incident, how attackers are already adapting the same agentic tradecraft to influence operations, and why security, intelligence, and communications teams need narrative intelligence that works at machine speed. If you are responsible for protecting executives, brands, or critical infrastructure, this is for you: https://hubs.ly/Q03VrXm50

Citi has just published this insightful report on deepfake fraud. Deepfakes have become the new face of deception. These AI-generated voices, images, videos, and even text now look and sound convincingly real. Once viewed as harmless entertainment, they have quickly evolved into sophisticated tools for manipulation and financial crime. The true risk is not simply how realistic deepfakes appear, but how they erode trust at scale. Identity, intent, and truth become fluid and easily weaponized. At BLACKBIRD.AI, we see inauthentic media combined with targeted narrative campaigns that exploit social fractures, influence markets, and trigger costly executive or brand crises long before anyone realizes what is happening. This is a challenge of trust, verification, and decision-making that requires narrative intelligence alongside traditional security measures. • Executives are finally treating disinformation security as a core part of cybersecurity, not just a side issue for comms. Our CEO, Wasim Khaled, explains how narrative attacks targeting companies, leaders, and critical infrastructure became a front-line risk category in 2025, as tracked by Gartner, Forrester, and the World Economic Forum. He lays out why traditional tools like social listening and generic threat intel are failing, and how narrative intelligence gives security and risk teams the visibility they need to “know the narratives” that move markets, drive crises, and put people in harm’s way. If you are planning your security posture for 2026, this is where the conversation is heading: https://hubs.ly/Q03Vj1wd0

CEO at Blackbird.AI - Protecting Organizations from Narrative Attacks.

Generative AI has blown up the old timelines of influence. What used to take coordinated teams now takes one operator and a laptop. Entire personas, synthetic audio, fake images and full narrative operations can be spun up in minutes. The threat surface is no longer just networks and endpoints. It’s perception, and it moves faster than any security stack built for yesterday. Anthropic’s disclosure this week made that impossible to ignore. A China linked operator hijacked an AI model and ran autonomous cyber activities across thirty organizations. They broke their goals into small, harmless looking tasks to slip past guardrails. They used the agent for recon, vulnerability discovery, exploit generation and credential harvesting at a velocity no human team could match. Thousands of actions. Tight loops with almost no oversight. Here is the part most people will miss...this is the same tradecraft we have been seeing at BLACKBIRD.AI in narrative attacks for years. Agent driven loops. Synthetic communities posing as real people. Automated testing of messages to find what hits. Influence operations that adapt faster than any manual team can even observe. This is exactly the space Blackbird is built for. Our platform picks up the earliest signals, identifies the actors and communities behind manipulated narratives and maps the next moves in the narrative kill chain so cyber, comms, legal and executive protection are not reacting in silos but acting from one picture. In our upcoming webinar with Chris Konrad from World Wide Technology, we will dig into these threats and what organizations can do about an agentified threat landscape. This Claude exploit is just a preview of what’s coming next. Join in our conversation here on December 10th: https://lnkd.in/e64q6erY
