Empowering Children and Adults with Disabilities to Achieve Their Fullest Potential

About us

ARC (Advocates for the Rights of the Challenged) Is a 501(c)(3) non-for-profit organization dedicated to empowering children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to achieve their fullest potential through residential, vocational, educational, behavioral and other healthcare services. ARC of the Treasure Coast advocates for the rights and full community participation of all people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. With your help, we are working every day to build a future of inclusive work, play, worship, community, travel, and more. ARC provides supports, assistance and training that will enhance the abilities for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families to thrive each day. But, even more importantly, the ARC prepares individuals with disabilities to overcome any obstacles they may face throughout their life. Obstacles that may challenge them mentally, physically, socially and/or culturally from achieving their fullest potential.

  • ⭐ Staff Spotlight! We’re thrilled to shine this month’s Staff Spotlight on Jennifer Rooks, our incredible TIP Center Director! Jennifer joined the ARC of the Treasure Coast earlier this year and has already made a tremendous impact. In just a short time, she hosted an inclusive Trunk or Treat event for individuals with disabilities of all ages, drawing in hundreds of participants and creating a fun, welcoming, and accessible experience for everyone involved. • 🌟 Building Skills, Building Futures 🌟    Through our Advanced Employment Services, individuals gain real-world experience and the opportunity to discover their strengths.    At The House of Hope, one of our valued community partners, this young woman practiced her skills assessment in the food pantry, learning responsibility, independence, and preparing for future employment.    Partnerships like these create pathways to success and show the power of community support in helping every individual reach their potential. 💙  To learn more about our services and programs please visit, https://lnkd.in/emxEhwZb
