We’re thrilled to announce our new strategic partnership with A*STAR Infectious Diseases Labs - A*STAR IDL to co-develop next generation self-amplifying RNA (saRNA) vaccines against seasonal and pandemic influenza. This collaboration unites our Octavia™ platform, which uses AI to intelligently design prospective, variant-resilient antigens, with A*STAR IDL’s cutting-edge saRNA delivery technologies. Together, we aim to pioneer vaccines that provide broader and longer-lasting protection against influenza. To kick off the partnership, Apriori leaders Craig Williams, Harry Kleanthous, and Raffaella Squilloni, had the privilege of visiting A*STAR’s offices in Singapore. Yesterday we had the honor of hosting Seth Berkley, Executive Vice Chairman at Apriori Bio, for an afternoon of reflection, conversation, and celebration. Seth shared insights from his remarkable career, from founding and leading IAVI to his time as CEO of Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance. His perspective on global health, leadership, and equitable vaccine access resonated deeply with our team, and it was invigorating getting to connect over shared purpose. A heartfelt thank you to Seth for his time and inspiration!

Yesterday I had the pleasure of speaking at the RRPV | Rapid Response Partnership Vehicle meeting, where BARDA outlined its strategy to strengthen public health preparedness and response efforts, and fostered collaboration between government and industry. The sessions underscored what has been on my mind a lot lately. Public–private partnerships are critical for funding and promoting innovation, whether it be through new therapeutic products/vaccines or enabling technology platforms. Companies like Apriori Bio are a perfect example of what’s possible. By providing risk intelligence for emerging threats and developing prospective countermeasures (such as vaccines), we can support the US government’s health security goals, together. Safeguarding public health requires urgency and unity. The guiding principle remains clear: we must act fast and act together.

We are excited to announce a research collaboration with The Francis Crick Institute to enhance our capacity to accurately predict viral evolution and develop innovative, prospective vaccine candidates against current and emerging viral threats. Read more here: https://lnkd.in/dsj972d9

As part of our annual Day of Service, our team came together to support Youth Enrichment Services, a local non-profit inspiring Boston youth through outdoor experiences. We assembled summer camp bags filled with essentials like towels, sunscreen, insect repellant, goggles, and water bottles – plus a note of encouragement for each camper. We hope these packs make a meaningful difference for campers this summer, ensuring they’re ready for adventure and fun. It’s been an exciting year for Apriori.
