About the Awards
Volunteered abroad with the European Solidarity Corps? This is your moment to shine.
The Participation Awards are all about your story - the friendships, the challenges, the weird meals, trying to sort out your bank account at the end of the month, the people you met who suddenly became impossible to live without, and the real impact you’re making in the local community.
All those incredible moments that make volunteering so unforgettable.
It’s your chance to share what your experience really meant to you, in your own words and in one minute or less. Let’s get your story out there and spark even more volunteering adventures.
What do you need to do?
It’s super simple:
- Make a one-minute video about your volunteering experience
- Upload it to YouTube Shorts (vertical format, see how here)
- Follow the steps on the participation page to submit your application.
📅 You can submit your video from 16 July until 2 September at 23:59 CEST.
Winners will be picked and notified in September.
We want stories that are real and inspiring, the kind that make people go “Wow, I want to do that too!”
Ten winners will be picked by a Jury made up of:
- someone from the European Commission
- someone from the EYCA Youth Panel
- someone from the Young Creators programme
- someone from the EYCA staff
Here’s what they’ll be looking for:
👀 Engagement - views, likes, comments all help, so get your friends involved
🎨 Creativity - videos that stand out and show off your personality
❤️ Inspiration - stories that get others excited about volunteering
What can you win?
If your video is one of the top 10, we promise you’ll have a great time winning:
