Change or reset your password

Important: Your Google Fi account is linked to your Google Account. If you lose access to your Google Account, you may lose access to your Google Fi account. To protect your Google Fi service access, add recovery info to your Google Account.

You can change your password for security reasons or reset it if you forget it. Your Google Account password is used to access many Google products, like Gmail and YouTube.

How do I change my Google Account password?

    1. Open your device's Settings app.
    2. Tap your account name and then Your name again and then Manage your Google Account.
  1. Tap Security & sign-in.
  2. Under "How you sign in to Google," tap Password. You might need to sign in.
  3. Enter your new password, then tap Change Password.
    • Tip: When you enter your password on mobile, the first letter isn't case sensitive.
