If you can’t find your apps in Android Auto’s app launcher, they might be temporarily disabled. To save your battery life, Samsung phones temporarily disable apps you haven’t used in a while. These apps might still show up on your phone, but won’t show up in your Android Auto app launcher until you re-enable them. You can also manually turn off the auto disable settings for each app.

Restore an unused app

  1. On your phone, open the app to re-enable it.
  2. The next time you open your app launcher , you should see your app.

Change your settings

  1. On your phone, navigate to your battery settings.
  2. Turn off Auto disable unused apps or Put unused apps to sleep.

If you can’t find your battery settings, get help from your device manufacturer
