On your Android XR device, you can use Home Space or Full Space.
- Home Space: You can open, move, and resize multiple windows and apps.
- Full Space: You can focus on an immersive experience with just one app.
Use Full Space
- Open the app you want to use in Full Space.
- Some apps automatically open in Full Space.
- If applicable, to switch to Full Space, find and select the expand window button.
- If applicable, to exit Full Space, find and select the compact window button.
Open & resize an app window in Home Space
- On your Android XR device, open the Home screen.
- If you aren’t sure how to open the Home screen, learn how to navigate on your Android XR device.
- Select the app you want to open.
- To resize: Aim at one corner of the app window until it’s highlighted, then pinch, hold, and drag.
- To move a window: Aim at the border of the app window until it's highlighted, then pinch, hold, and drag.
Tips:
- You can continue to open more apps or multiple windows of the same app and arrange them as you prefer.
- To automatically arrange up to 3 of your most recently used apps, on the app toolbar, select the secondary menu
Tidy up.
- On your Home screen, you can also select Tidy up.
