C8 at the 2025 Careers & Skills Show Last week we were delighted to attend the 2025 Careers & Skills Show, where we had the opportunity to showcase the wide range of career opportunities available at C8. From installing, engineering and cabling through to designing, estimating and project management, our team highlighted just how many pathways there are within the commercial mechanical, electrical and renewables sector. We were also pleased to share our stand with Vent, giving students and visitors an even wider snapshot of the opportunities available across both businesses. We’d like to thank everyone who stopped by – it was fantastic meeting so many enthusiastic people, answering questions, and hopefully inspiring the next generation of engineers, installers and project specialists.

We were proud to deliver full M&E services for the latest phase of Creaseys Department Store – a multi-level retail redevelopment carried out within a live trading environment. Working alongside main contractor Rihoy & Son and architects Lovell Ozanne / LSH, our team delivered a comprehensive mechanical and electrical installation, including new power and lighting, fire alarm and disabled refuge systems, AOVs, and upgraded electrical infrastructure and distribution throughout. The project also incorporated new air conditioning and ventilation systems to enhance comfort and efficiency across multiple levels. We were proud to deliver a full office fit-out for Butterfield Bank at Martello Court, Admiral Park – a multi-phased transformation within a partially occupied, four-storey office building. Working around live offices and maintaining seamless continuity for occupants, our team replaced the 4-pipe fan coil units and valves, upgraded distribution boards, metering, and BMS systems, and installed new plumbing and electrical services to support refreshed kitchenettes and breakout areas. We were delighted to deliver the mechanical design and installation for Fukku - Guernsey’s striking new Japanese dining experience. Working closely with Sam Jarrold and StudiO Architecture + Design, we designed and installed a smart, efficient system to accommodate extensive ventilation and air conditioning — seamlessly integrated to fit both the space and the aesthetic.
