We can’t compete with the Dyson's, Stanley cups, or whatever else is in your cart today. But we can give you something most Black Friday deals can’t - support that lasts longer than whatever’s showing up on your doorstep. We rarely put our membership on sale, but this week we’re offering 25% off our membership to make it easier for more women to join the collective that actually backs their careers. Between our career coaching, community support, and Champions program, women have used the Toast community to negotiate higher salaries and step into roles that finally feel aligned. Here's what being a Toast member brings to your tech journey: 🥂 Weekly online workshops 🗓️ IRL events in major cities (Tech Girl Walks, Fire Side chats with women doing cool $h*t, cafe meetups, and workshops) 🧢 One 3:1 small group career coaching session per month with a certified career coach 🎟️ Admission & discounts on large scale events such as the Toast Summit 🏆 The Champions Program  ⚡ Biannual hackathons ⚖️ Access to our in-house legal & HR expert via the #ask-a-lawyer channel 🌎 A network of women in tech across North America  🔒 Access to the Toast Membership Portal and Toast Slack If you’ve been contemplating joining, this is your little nudge. If you’re already part of Toast, pass this along to a woman in tech who deserves a better work life! Year end is creeping in and so are promotion cycles. If you’re already thinking about how to advocate for yourself, this one’s for you. Senior energy isn’t earned only through tenure. It’s shaped by how you talk about your work, the way you make decisions, and the confidence you bring into every room. Early-career women often do the work of someone levels above them, but don’t always get seen that way. That’s where communication becomes power. Small shifts can change everything: focusing on outcomes, taking ownership, anticipating what’s next, and showing that you understand the bigger picture. These are the signals that help people experience you as senior, even before your title reflects it. Build the voice now so the recognition follows. 💥 If you want support building this muscle, our community and career coaches help you practice it in real time. Join Toast and get the tools, guidance, and women who’ll champion you from junior to senior. 🍞 https://lnkd.in/g4XbnnVV

Yesterday I got a bunch of ladies together and had them go around the table, telling us about their very niche hobbies. My objective was to really show that we are all multi-passionate, multi-faceted humans with a myriad of talents and colours - outside of our work identity. The one thing connecting them all? They all work in tech or tech-adjacent fields. Outside that, they are riding motorcycles through Europe, getting WSET (wine sommelier) certified, writing poetry, building artsy mechanical keyboards, dancing Zumba, learning Indian classical dance, running Hyrox races, reading tarot cards..... the list goes on. This is why I say that lean into what makes you YOU. That's your personal brand. That's what makes you so darn interesting. Not the fact that you're a great full stack developer. Or that you're a product manager. There are a thousand of those, right here on LinkedIn. The combination of being a AI consultant, who loves history AND is training for a Hyrox in France? Boom. That's unique, and memorable. Pictured below are the wonderful ladies of Toast. Would love to have you join us next month ;) Carice Chan Jocelyn Amaya Selin L. Jane Holovko Enas Awwad Drishti Mannan
