We have partnered with a fast growing tech investment group who are hiring a Director of Business Development to lead growth across ten software companies. This role is built for someone who has been carrying the bag and wants to step into bigger responsibility. The position oversees a portfolio of ten software companies and includes coaching a team of four business development managers. It is a true player coach setup. 60% focused on originating deal flow. 30% on leading the team. 10% on sharpening KPIs, reporting, and the overall business development function. The ideal background includes buy side origination experience in tech, with deals sourced, progressed, and closed. Meaningful outbound volume matters. A history of leading people is helpful, but high performers with leadership potential will also be considered. Compensation includes a $150K base and a $100K bonus, bringing total earnings to $250K plus, with uncapped upside.
