Our commitment to sustainability means continuously improving how we measure and manage our greenhouse gas emissions. In 2023, we adopted a more comprehensive methodology to track scope 1, scope 2, and scope 3 emissions, ensuring our reporting reflects the full picture of our environmental footprint. This shift allows us to better identify opportunities for reduction, align with global best practices, and drive meaningful change across our operations and value chain. Accurate data is the foundation of effective climate action, and we’re using it to build a more sustainable future. What makes platinum group metals essential to modern life? They’re the quiet enablers behind cleaner air, greener energy, and smarter technologies. From catalytic converters to hydrogen fuel cells, PGMs are at the core of innovations that power sustainability and performance, and Zimplats has emerged the leading producer in Zimbabwe. Scaling up to meet rising demand, Zimplats has tripled smelting capacity with a new 38-MW Hatch furnace at the Selous Metallurgical Complex. We delivered full EPCM services, enabling a leap from 135,000 to 380,000 tonnes of concentrate per year. The result? A future-ready facility that cuts CO₂ emissions by 300,000 tonnes annually and reduces fine particles by nearly 90%. Explore our role in delivering the expanded smelter, which now stands as a technological legacy powered primarily by solar and hydro energy, and representing the future of sustainable mining in Zimbabwe: https://lnkd.in/gJzsuGVS #HatchPerformanceInnovations #EngineeringExcellence #PartneringForProgress #PositiveChange
