It really helps me. Because sometimes you just forget when was your period or how it went and you can even track there ovulation or the best time to get pregnant. I really recommend it. Also you can put there how is your mood, energy, skin, hair, pills, sexlife, social life and everything else and how period effects you. I think thats nice. Somethings like books or articals are for premium users, but can still read some of them.
Letdown
ZanyB.
I loved this app and have been using it for years. However, I have to give it three stars now, as the push for paying premium became too extreme. I understand that premium can provide further insights and will be amazing option for some, but it is just not an option for me. The biggest letdown is that they put even the most basic features, such as showing the individual cycle length, behind a paywall. This is one of the few things that I really want to track and now I can’t see this info for any of my cycles – just an overall average is available. It is really sad that they have been using all my (and other users’) data for making the app better and now I can’t even have a good access to them. I’m now searching for alternative app.

Hi there, thanks for reaching out. We’re so sorry to hear that we’ve let you down. Unfortunately, we’ve had to make tough decisions in order to be a sustainable business, so we can keep providing the free version of Clue to those who need it. All of your tracked data is still visible in your Calendar View and you can still see how long your cycles are. Just tap on the date when your cycle ended (the day before your next period started) > A pop-up will then appear from the bottom, with your tracking details > Check the top right corner for "Cycle day #". Deeper analysis and data visualization are now a part of Clue Plus. Because of our firm position to keep your data private and safe, we don’t make money from ads like many other companies do. Clue Plus is the only way we can continue to fund and support free features and resources. We hope you can understand. All the best, Ilaria from Clue.
It’s just getting worse and worse

I’ve used Clue for almost 5 years now and it was almost perfect for my cycle tracking and back then I would recommend it to all the women. It was easy to use and I could find everything I needed at one place. Now, after all the latest updates I’m done. I find it as useful as a paper calendar on my table. I can’t see the history of my cycles, which is pretty important when I have irregular cycle and when I track for example the ovulation pain I can’t see which day of a cycle it was so I have to count it which is extremely annoying. I could go on. I believe Clue Plus might be better, but as a student with basically no income I can’t afford paying just for period tracking at this point, so I’m leaving sad and disappointed.
It would be a great app, if it didnt push so much on purchasing the premium plan.

I really liked the app before it sometimes let me read articles sbout how my body functions and what what means during my cycles. Now i dont have access to any pf that, cause its behind a paywall. I understand the need to fund the app. But in this case since its medical and people deserve this knowledge even without paying i wouldnt mind some form of ads to pay for the function instead. Some people cant afford paying all the subscriptions and putting knowledge behind a paywall makes me upset as a european :d. Especially when it comes to female health that has been overlooked and isnt as mapped and having an app like this to have reliable articles would be great. So its a shame.

Hi there, we understand that Clue Plus pop-ups can be frustrating, and we’re sorry for the disruption. Clue’s primary source of funding is subscriptions. When our users are our only customers, we can stay independent and accountable to our community instead of third parties and other interests. All the best, Ilaria from Clue
